VISUAL DEVELOPMENT

Before you see any characters moving on screen one of the first tasks, during any production is "visual development".  As a vis dev artist I read the outline or script, sometimes get notes from the directors and then I start visualizing possible environments of the "make believe" world I am about to create, this process applies to movies, TV shows or themed entertainment park designs. Once the designs are approved, the artwork is then given to the production crew to follow the artistic style of the project.
